Graptophyllum pictum is a plant used in medicine from the time of Ayurveda, ancient system Indian medicine. This review article presented to give an insight on all updated information its pharmacological activities. Studies indicated that G. possesses diverse medicinal properties such as anti-inflammatory, nephroprotective, antidiabetic, oxytocic, and anti-implantation properties. comprehends numerous uses present literature for belongs family Acanthaceae.
